Canary Wharf, Modern Day Life in London
I believe it was 2016 when I first thought of visiting London. I still can’t explain why it took me 8 years (2024) to actually act on that thought. I also doubled down on the decision and added Edinburgh to the list.
While visiting, my girlfriend and I were hosted at our friends Mihnea&Leila. It was them who took us to see Canary Wharf. I have to say, the district looks amazing. Tall modern buildings provide lots of photography opportunities.
I like how this photo captures modern society in London and the rich cultural diversity of the city. I live in Bucharest and the city has come a long way in the last 10-15 years, but London is on a completely different level when it comes to diversity. It’s amazing.
The photo was taken with my good old Fujifilm XF 16-55mm F2.8 (for which Fujifilm just launched the Mark II version recently).
