Magical Swan on Lake IOR

Magical Swan on Lake IOR

White swans seem to have become an iconic part of IOR Park. I can’t remember when exactly they first showed up in the park’s ecosystem, but I think it might have been around the year 2011. They are probably the number one attraction for all visitors of the park.

The swans are very friendly (you can see small children interacting with them) and their numbers seem to be growing over time. They are also joined by wild ducks, turtles and at least one more bird species which I can’t identify.

Now this particular picture I think was taken while the swan was “interacting” with a dogĀ  on the the lake’s shore, in the sense that the dog was barking and the swan was flapping its large wings and splashing water around it. The whole photo has a sort of ethereal/magical look to me.

As far as technicalaties go, the lens is most likely the Fujifilm XF 50-140mm F2.8. There’s a small change I had the XF 100-400mm with me, but I’m too lazy to check the original RAW metadata.
