Nobody Understands Me

Nobody Understands Me

Alone and isolated, not abandoned, just ignored. We’ve all had that feeling at least once. Especially when we were little kids.

There’s something special about this little girl not showing her face in this photo. It probably makes it easier for us to identify with her state of mind. Without the face we can simply project her emotional state on to ourselves.

Her story is hers to tell, but a picture is worth a thousand words and it will have to do until she is grown up enough to explain it herself.

As far as artistic thouches go, I am incredibely pleased with her lock of hair swinging in the wind. It’s probably the cherry on top for this photo.

I might be wrong, but this frame was captured with the Fujifilm XF 50-140mm F2.8.
