Paradise in Plitvice Lakes National Park
Plitvice was the last stop on a road trip from Bucharest to Budapest, Zagrep, Dubrovnik and finally to Plitvice. This trip took place in the summer 2019, the last summer of freedom before Covid-19 started messing up travelling worlwide.
I was EXTREMELY impressed by the beauty of this national park. I’m not usually impressed by landscapes, probably because I haven’t had the opportunity to experience amazing nature experiences, but Plitvice Lakes is absolutely incredible! We visited the park for an entire day and besides the jaw dropping landscapes and the clean/serene nature experience, I was always thinking about the many photography opportunities. There are hundreds of picture perfect spots almost taken out of a fairytale book!
I ended the trip saying “I could spend a full week (from morning ’till dawn) in Plitvice with a handful of SD cards and still not capture all the photos I wanted!”
It’s just an amazing place providing a constant feeling of serenity. A gold mine for photographers.
On the more technical side, this photo was captured using my Fujifilm X-T20 and the Fujinon XF 16-55mm F2.8.
